An emergency meeting of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was held on the afternoon of Thursday, May 22, at the party’s central office. The meeting was presided over by Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, with members of the Central Executive Council in attendance.

During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the overall current situation of the country.

In light of the ongoing national crisis, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman called upon Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus to convene an all-party conference aimed at finding a way out of the prevailing situation.
