NCP leaders deliver emergency flood relief in Chattogram

Local leaders of the National Citizen Party (NCP) distributed emergency relief to flood-affected families in Chattogram's Chandgaon area. Led by Rakibul Hasan, the team provided essential supplies, assessed damage and pledged to continue humanitarian assistance throughout the flood emergency.

Local leaders of the National Citizen Party (NCP) have distributed essential relief items to residents stranded by severe flooding in the Chandgaon Police Station area of Chattogram-8.

The humanitarian initiative was led by local NCP leader Rakibul Hasan. The delegation covered several flood-ravaged neighborhoods from Faridar Para to Shomser Para to support families currently struggling with acute waterlogging, food shortages and other disaster-related hardships.

Alongside handing out relief supplies and gifts, the political team assessed the extent of the local damage. They spent time speaking directly with affected residents to better understand their immediate concerns on the ground.

Our assistance may be modest, but standing beside people during times of crisis is our responsibility,” Hasan said during the visit. Through this initiative, we are trying to offer support and solidarity to flood-affected families.

Local NCP officials confirmed that similar humanitarian operations will continue as long as the flood crisis persists. They also issued an appeal for private individuals, commercial businesses and social organizations to step forward and assist the disaster-struck communities.

Residents welcomed the timely intervention. Locals described the effort as a source of vital encouragement and practical assistance for families facing severe difficulties from the rising waters.
